30 million euro project: Altaussee: Cable car up the Loser is gaining momentum

A new alpine roller coaster is taking shape at Loser.
The construction of the Loser cable car in Altaussee in Styria is progressing according to plan. The construction work for the new 10-seater gondola lift is in full swing, and the first towers are already standing.
The new cable car will replace the old 2-seater chairlift and will be able to transport up to 2,400 people per hour. The valley station will be located near the Loserhütte, and the mountain station will be located on the summit of the Loser at an altitude of 1,838 meters.
The total cost of the project is around 30 million euros, and it is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
The new cable car is expected to boost tourism in the region, and it will also provide a new and convenient way for hikers and skiers to access the Loser.
