Andy Carroll has opened up about his time at Liverpool, insisting he has no regrets about joining the club despite struggling to make an impact during his spell at Anfield.
Carroll joined Liverpool from Newcastle United in January 2011 for a fee of £35 million, but he failed to live up to expectations and was sold to West Ham United two-and-a-half years later.
The striker scored just 11 goals in 58 appearances for Liverpool, and he was often criticized for his poor form and lack of mobility.

However, Carroll insists he has no regrets about joining Liverpool, and he believes he gave it his all during his time at the club.
"I have no regrets about joining Liverpool," Carroll told talkSPORT.
"I gave it my all during my time there, and I think I did well considering the circumstances.
"I was playing with some of the best players in the world, and I was learning from one of the best managers in the world.
"I think I improved as a player during my time at Liverpool, and I am grateful for the opportunity I was given."
Carroll's time at Liverpool may not have been a success, but he insists he has no regrets about joining the club.
The striker believes he gave it his all during his time at Anfield, and he is grateful for the opportunity he was given to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
