First Media Camera Ride with the New Panorama Railroad to be Seen
This Monday, June 6th, the Austrian Television (ORF) will broadcast a special program on the Loser in the Ausseerland-Salzkammergut region. The program will feature the first media camera ride with the new Loser Panorama Cable Car, which was opened in December 2021. The ORF team will accompany the Loser Panorama Cable Car on its journey up the 1,838-meter-high Loser summit. Viewers will be able to enjoy breathtaking views of the Dachstein massif, the Totes Gebirge, and the Ausseerland. In addition, the program will provide information about the history of the Loser and the construction of the new cable car. The special broadcast will air on ORF 2 on Monday, June 6th, at 8:15 p.m.
The Loser Panorama Cable Car is a state-of-the-art cable car that offers visitors a comfortable and safe ascent to the Loser summit. The cable car has a capacity of 10 people and travels at a speed of 6 meters per second. The journey to the summit takes about 12 minutes. At the summit, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and lakes. There are also several hiking trails that lead from the summit to the surrounding area.
