Aston Villa rescued a point in the 96th minute to draw 1-1 with Bournemouth in front of their own fans.
Ross Barkley scored his first goal since joining Villa on loan from Chelsea just three minutes after coming on as a substitute.
The 29-year-old has endured a difficult time with injuries since moving to Stamford Bridge in January 2018.
But he showed his quality with a fine finish from the edge of the area to give Villa a deserved lead.
However, Bournemouth fought back and deservedly equalised through Evanilson in the 96th minute.
The Brazilian striker headed home from close range after a cross from Dominic Solanke.
The result leaves Villa in 11th place in the Premier League, while Bournemouth are 14th.
Villa started the game brightly and could have taken the lead in the early stages.
Ollie Watkins saw his shot saved by Mark Travers, while John McGinn had a header cleared off the line.
Bournemouth grew into the game and had their own chances, with Solanke and Jaidon Anthony both going close.
Barkley's goal came at a crucial time for Villa, as they had just started to lose their grip on the game.
The England international collected the ball on the edge of the area and drove into the Bournemouth box.
He then unleashed a low shot that found the bottom corner of the net.
Villa looked set to hold on for all three points, but Bournemouth refused to give up.
They threw everything at Villa in the closing stages and were eventually rewarded when Evanilson headed home in the 96th minute.
It was a cruel blow for Villa, but they will be pleased to have taken a point from a difficult game.
