Brad Binder Eyes Front-End Fixes After Frustrating Issues in Buriram Practice - "I kept losing the front"
KTM rider Brad Binder says he has identified front-end issues as the cause of his struggles during Friday practice for the Thailand MotoGP round.
Binder, who has been one of the standout performers in recent races, could only manage 17th and 18th in the two practice sessions at the Chang International Circuit.
The South African rider said he had been struggling for grip on the front of his bike, which had led to him losing the front end on several occasions.
"I kept losing the front," Binder said. "I don't know why. We need to find a solution for tomorrow because it's not good enough. I'm not happy with the way the bike is working at the moment."
Binder said he had been working with his team to try and find a solution to the problem, but so far they had not been able to find a fix.
"We've tried a few things, but nothing seems to be working," Binder said. "We're going to have to keep working on it and see if we can find something for tomorrow."
Despite his struggles, Binder said he was confident that he could still have a good race on Sunday.
"I know the bike is capable of it," Binder said. "We just need to find a way to get it working properly."
Binder will be hoping to bounce back from his disappointing practice sessions when he lines up for qualifying on Saturday.
