Brighton and Wolves shared the spoils in a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Amex Stadium.

The visitors took the lead through Raul Jimenez's early header, but Neal Maupay leveled for Brighton just before the break.

Maupay then gave Brighton the lead for the first time in the second half, but Wolves substitute Fabio Silva rescued a point for the visitors with a late equalizer.

The result leaves Brighton in 16th place in the Premier League table, while Wolves are now 12th.

Brighton made a bright start to the game and should have taken the lead in the opening minutes when Leandro Trossard fired wide from close range.

However, it was Wolves who took the lead against the run of play in the 13th minute when Jimenez headed home from close range after a cross from Adama Traore.

Brighton continued to press for an equalizer and were rewarded just before the break when Maupay fired home from inside the area after a cross from Solly March.

The home side started the second half strongly and took the lead for the first time in the 54th minute when Maupay converted a penalty after he had been fouled by Conor Coady.

Wolves pushed for an equalizer and were rewarded in the 81st minute when Silva headed home from close range after a cross from Traore.

The result leaves Brighton in 16th place in the Premier League table, while Wolves are now 12th.
