Bullish Hibs Boss David Gray Backs Himself Amid Heat
Gray's Honesty Praised
David Gray, manager of Scottish Premiership club Hibernian, has defended his record despite recent criticism from fans and pundits.
With two wins from their opening five league games, Hibs find themselves 11th in the table, a run of form that has led to questions over Gray's future.
However, speaking to the media, Gray insisted that he retained the backing of the club's board and players.
Gray's Experience
Gray, 43, has been in charge of Hibs since June 2021, having previously managed St Mirren and Falkirk.
He guided Hibs to the Premier Sports Cup semi-finals last season while they finished eighth in the Premiership.
Gray believes his experience in the game means he is the right man to lead Hibs forward.
Gray's Family Sanctuary
Away from football, Gray spoke about the importance of his family in helping him cope with the pressures of management.
He said his wife and three children provide him with a sanctuary away from the pitch.
Gray also revealed that he seeks advice from his father, a former player and manager.
