NFL wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins traded to the Kansas City Chiefs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City Chiefs have acquired star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins in a trade with the Arizona Cardinals, the team announced Tuesday.

The Chiefs sent a package of draft picks to the Cardinals in exchange for Hopkins, who has been one of the most productive wide receivers in the NFL over the past several seasons.

Hopkins to join Mahomes, Kelce in high-powered offense

Hopkins will join a high-powered Chiefs offense that already features quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce.

Chiefs aim for Super Bowl

The Chiefs are coming off a disappointing season in which they lost to the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship Game.

With the addition of Hopkins, the Chiefs are now one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl in 2023.
