No. 2 Men Add 2 More to 2024 Class

Florida State men’s soccer added two more verbals to its 2024 recruiting class Wednesday as defender Cade Hagan and midfielder Gibran Ray joined the fold.

Hagan, a three-star recruit out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, is the third defender to commit to the Seminoles’ 2024 class, joining four-stars Gavin Schoen and Jeremy Levine.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Hagan is a physical presence on the back line and is also dangerous going forward. He scored six goals and added four assists for IMG Academy this past season.

Ray, meanwhile, is a three-star recruit out of Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida. The 5-foot-10, 160-pound Ray is a skilled midfielder who can play either centrally or on the wing.

Ray is a good passer and has a knack for getting into dangerous positions. He scored four goals and added three assists for Montverde Academy this past season.

With the additions of Hagan and Ray, Florida State now has seven verbals in its 2024 recruiting class. The Seminoles are ranked No. 2 in the country in the 2024 recruiting class rankings by TopDrawerSoccer.com.

No. 1 Women Add 5 More to 2024 Class

Florida State women’s soccer added five more verbals to its 2024 recruiting class Wednesday as defender Brianna Alger, defender Emma Colton, forward Ava Fusco, midfielder Kyla Ferry and goalkeeper Allie McDonald joined the fold.

Alger, a three-star recruit out of Carlsbad High School in Carlsbad, California, is a versatile defender who can play either center back or outside back.

The 5-foot-9, 160-pound Alger is a strong and physical defender who is also good on the ball. She was a member of the U.S. U-17 National Team that won the 2022 CONCACAF Championship.

Colton, meanwhile, is a three-star recruit out of St. Joseph’s Academy in St. Louis, Missouri. The 5-foot-11, 165-pound Colton is a tall and athletic defender who is good in the air.
