Courteeners Unveil The Beginning Of The End Single Featuring DMA'S & Announce Album Launch Show

Courteeners returned with new music and a live date on Monday.

The Manchester band have announced details of their long-awaited fifth album, Mapping The Rendezvous, set to be released on 24th March 2023 via Ignition Records.

Alongside the announcement, the band also shared the album’s first single, The Beginning Of The End, a collaboration with fellow Manchester band DMA’S.

The Courteeners will launch their new album with a huge homecoming show at Manchester’s AO Arena on 11th May 2023.

Tickets go on general sale this Friday (30th September) at 9:30am, with a pre-sale taking place on Wednesday (28th September) at the same time.

The Beginning Of The End is a soaring, anthemic track that showcases the band’s knack for crafting catchy, guitar-driven indie-rock.

The song is accompanied by a video directed by long-time collaborator Daniel Brereton, who previously worked on the band’s videos for Not Nineteen Forever and Heavy Jacket.

The video features the band performing the song in a variety of locations, including a warehouse, a rooftop, and a forest.

The Beginning Of The End is a promising first taste of what’s to come from Courteeners’ fifth album, Mapping The Rendezvous.

The album is said to be a more experimental and introspective record than the band’s previous work, and it is sure to be eagerly anticipated by fans.
