BMW International Open: Marcel Schneider misses cut
Marcel Schneider missed the cut at the BMW International Open. After rounds of 72 and 68, the 33-year-old finished on two under par and missed the cut by two strokes. Max Kieffer made the cut but finished in a tie for 18th place on six under par after rounds of 68 and 66.
Schneider in good shape despite missed cut
Despite missing the cut, Schneider was satisfied with his performance. "I played well, but I made too many mistakes on the greens," said Schneider. "But I'm in good shape and I'm looking forward to the next tournaments." Kieffer was also satisfied with his performance. "I played well, but I didn't make enough putts," said Kieffer. "But I'm happy with my game and I'm looking forward to the next tournaments."
The BMW International Open was won by Viktor Hovland, who finished on 19 under par. Hovland won by two strokes from Rory McIlroy. Shane Lowry finished third on 16 under par.
