Figo Reveals Favourite El Clasico Moments
The former Barcelona and Real Madrid star, Luis Figo, has revealed his favourite El Clasico moments.
"It's always a special game to play in," Figo said. "The atmosphere is amazing and the intensity is incredible. I've had some great moments in El Clasico and it's always a joy to play in it."
Figo's favourite moments include scoring a goal at the Camp Nou in 2002, winning the La Liga title with Real Madrid in 2003, and playing in the first El Clasico at the new Bernabeu Stadium in 2007.
"Scoring a goal at the Camp Nou was a dream come true," Figo said. "It's one of the most iconic stadiums in the world and to score there was an incredible feeling."
"Winning the La Liga title with Real Madrid was also a special moment," Figo said. "It was my first league title with the club and it was a great feeling to be able to help the team win it."
"Playing in the first El Clasico at the new Bernabeu Stadium was also a special moment," Figo said. "It was a great game and it was great to be a part of it."
Figo is one of the most decorated players in El Clasico history. He has won the title five times with Real Madrid and once with Barcelona. He has also scored 10 goals in the fixture.
