Former child star Frankie Muniz is set to make his NASCAR debut in the Craftsman Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway on February 18th, 2023. Muniz, best known for his role as Malcolm in the hit TV show "Malcolm in the Middle," will drive the No. 30 Chevrolet Silverado for Reaume Brothers Racing.

Muniz has always been a fan of NASCAR and has competed in go-karting and other forms of racing in the past. He is excited for the opportunity to race in one of NASCAR's top series.

"I'm thrilled to be making my NASCAR debut at Daytona," Muniz said. "It's a dream come true to race at such an iconic track. I can't wait to get behind the wheel and compete with some of the best drivers in the world."

Muniz has been preparing for his NASCAR debut by testing with Reaume Brothers Racing at Daytona and other tracks. He has also been working with a driver coach to learn the ins and outs of stock car racing.

Reaume Brothers Racing is a family-owned team that has been competing in NASCAR since 1997. The team is based in Mooresville, North Carolina, and fields trucks in both the Craftsman Truck Series and the NASCAR Camping World East Series.

"We're excited to have Frankie join our team for the Daytona race," said Josh Reaume, co-owner of Reaume Brothers Racing. "He's a talented driver and a great ambassador for our sport. We're looking forward to seeing what he can do on the track."

The Craftsman Truck Series race at Daytona is scheduled for February 18th, 2023. The race will be televised live on FS1.
