Hibs: What's going wrong for David Gray's bottom side?
Poor form
The stats make for grim reading for David Gray and co at Hibernian - his position as manager is surely under threat. Hibs have now lost seven consecutive matches in all competitions. They have failed to score in five of those seven and have conceded an alarming 17 goals in that time.
The only position worse than Hibs in the league right now is Dundee United who have also failed to win any of their last seven, losing six in that time.
Home form
Hibernian have won just four of their 15 home matches in the league this season and have lost three of their last six. They have failed to score in four of those games.
They were thrashed 4-0 in their last home game by St Johnstone and they entertain Aberdeen in Leith on Saturday.
Managerial pressure
Gray is under increasing pressure at Easter Road. His side have won just one of their last 14 matches in all competitions and have lost nine of those.
Off the pitch, the club also have a huge debt hanging over them and fans have been protesting for months.
Fan frustration
The Hibs faithful are understandably furious with how their team is playing. They have made their feelings known with several protests in recent months.
They are planning a march and rally on Saturday to coincide with the Aberdeen game and will also display a banner criticising the manager.
What next?
It's hard to see how Gray can survive much longer as Hibs boss. The fans have lost patience and the team are in real danger of being dragged into a relegation battle.
The club's board could decide to sack Gray before Saturday's match against Aberdeen. If not, then it is surely only a matter of time before the axe falls.
