Hoosiers Set to Face Tough Non-Conference Slate

The Indiana University Hoosiers basketball team released its 2023-24 schedule on Thursday, which features a challenging non-conference slate that includes games against four Power Five opponents.

The Hoosiers will open the season on Nov. 7 with a home game against Eastern Illinois before traveling to face Xavier on Nov. 11.

Other notable non-conference matchups for Indiana include a home game against North Carolina on Dec. 17, a road game at Kansas on Jan. 28, and a home game against Purdue on Feb. 4.

Big Ten Schedule Features Home-and-Home with Michigan

In Big Ten play, the Hoosiers will have a home-and-home series with Michigan, along with single games against each of the other 13 conference opponents.

Indiana will open Big Ten play on Dec. 3 at home against Nebraska before traveling to face Illinois on Dec. 10.

The Hoosiers will also have home games against Iowa, Purdue, Michigan State, and Wisconsin, and road games against Maryland, Michigan, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, Rutgers, and Minnesota.

Hoosiers Aiming to Return to NCAA Tournament

After missing the NCAA Tournament in 2023, the Hoosiers are hoping to return to the Big Dance in 2024.

Indiana will be led by a talented roster that includes returning starters Trayce Jackson-Davis, Jalen Hood-Schifino, and Tamar Bates.

The Hoosiers will also welcome in a highly touted recruiting class that includes five-star forward Malik Reneau and four-star guard JQ Hardaway.
