Indianapolis Colts Release Updated Roster
Key Additions and Departures
The Indianapolis Colts have released their updated roster ahead of the upcoming season, and there are some notable changes to the team.
On the offensive side of the ball, the Colts have added wide receiver Demarcus Robinson and running back Phillip Lindsay. Robinson is a former teammate of Colts quarterback Matt Ryan, and he is expected to be a key target in the passing game. Lindsay is a versatile running back who can contribute both as a runner and a receiver.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Colts have added linebacker Bobby Okereke and cornerback Stephon Gilmore. Okereke is a young and talented linebacker who is expected to start alongside Shaquille Leonard. Gilmore is a veteran cornerback who has been one of the best in the NFL in recent years.
The Colts have also made some significant departures from their roster. Quarterback Carson Wentz has been traded to the Washington Commanders, and wide receiver T.Y. Hilton has been released.
Outlook for the Season
The Colts are hoping that the changes they have made to their roster will help them improve on their 9-8 record from last season. The team has a lot of talent on both sides of the ball, and they are expected to be competitive in the AFC South.
The Colts will open the season on September 11th at home against the Houston Texans.
