Jenoptik’s executive board expands with Matthew Traver as Chief Digital Officer
Jenoptik AG, a globally operating technology group, announced that Matthew Traver will join the company’s management team on October 1, 2023, as Chief Digital Officer (CDO).
Traver will be responsible for the consistent implementation of Jenoptik’s digitalization strategy and the digital transformation of the Group.
In this newly created role, Traver will help to position the company for the future and will report directly to Jenoptik President & CEO Dr. Stefan Traeger.
Traver joins Jenoptik from HERE Technologies, where he was Senior Vice President Digital and Data Experience.
In his role there, he was responsible for HERE’s marketing organization and led a team of software engineers, data scientists, and product managers who developed digital location services, navigation solutions and contextual location experiences.
Moving to Jenoptik, Traver will leverage his international experience in the digitalization of industrial companies.
Prior to HERE Technologies, Traver held senior management positions at McAfee, Intel, and Oracle, among others.
He has a strong track record in driving the development of successful software products and services, creating innovative business models, and transforming organizations to enable growth and efficiency.

Traver holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from the University of San Francisco and completed the Executive Business Program at the Stanford Business School.
