Early Life and Education
Kate Valdez, born as Maria Catalina Valdez, is a Filipina actress, model, and singer. She was born on September 15, 1993, in Manila, Philippines. Valdez attended the University of Santo Tomas, where she studied Architecture. However, she later decided to pursue a career in entertainment.
Career Beginnings
Valdez first gained recognition as a contestant in the reality television show "Pinoy Big Brother: All In" in 2014. After her stint on "Pinoy Big Brother," Valdez landed her first acting role in the ABS-CBN drama series "On the Wings of Love" in 2015.

Valdez's breakthrough role came in 2017 when she played the lead role in the GMA Network drama series "The Cure."
