Labour has said it is a "matter for the police" after footage emerged appearing to show a Labour MP involved in an altercation in the House of Commons.
The footage, which was posted on social media, appears to show the MP, who has not been named, pushing and shoving another person in the Commons chamber.
The incident is said to have happened on Wednesday evening during a vote on the government's Brexit deal.
Senior Labour figures have expressed their "appalled" at the footage, and have called for the MP to be investigated.
A Labour spokesman said: "We are aware of the footage and are looking into it. It is a matter for the police."
The Metropolitan Police said they were aware of the incident and were making inquiries.
