Leipzig vs. Freiburg, Augsburg vs. BVB, and Bremen vs. Leverkusen: Bundesliga Matchday 16 Preview
Leipzig vs. Freiburg
Live Score: Leipzig 1-1 Freiburg
RB Leipzig and SC Freiburg played one of the most entertaining games of the Bundesliga this season. SC Freiburg was the better team in the first 30 minutes and created a host of chances. After Leipzig had survived that intense Freiburg pressure, they somehow managed to take the lead against the run of play. Andre Silva scored for Leipzig in the 35th minute after a mistake by Freiburg goalkeeper Mark Flekken. Freiburg equalized in the 63rd minute with a goal from Ritsu Doan.
Freiburg was unlucky not to win the game as they hit the woodwork twice and had other good chances to score. Leipzig was also dangerous on the counter-attack, and they could have won the game themselves in the end.
In the end, a 1-1 draw was a fair result between two good teams.
Augsburg vs. BVB
Live Score: Augsburg 1-3 BVB
Borussia Dortmund returned to winning ways with an important 3-1 victory at Augsburg on Saturday.
Erling Haaland scored twice for Dortmund, taking his tally for the season to 13. The Norwegian striker opened the scoring in the 34th minute with a clinical finish from just inside the box. He doubled Dortmund’s lead in the 55th minute with a header from a corner.
Augsburg pulled a goal back in the 61st minute through Ruben Vargas, but Dortmund restored their two-goal advantage just four minutes later when Julian Brandt scored.
The win moved Dortmund up to second place in the Bundesliga table, two points behind leaders Bayern Munich. Augsburg, meanwhile, remained in 15th place.
Bremen vs. Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen cruised to a 3-1 win over Werder Bremen on Saturday to move into the top four of the Bundesliga.

Bremen pulled a goal back in the 57th minute through Niclas Füllkrug, but Leverkusen restored their two-goal advantage just four minutes later when Patrik Schick scored.
