About David Boreanaz
David Boreanaz is an actor, director, and producer. He is known for his roles as Angel on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the spin-off series Angel, and as Seeley Booth on the Fox crime drama Bones.
Boreanaz was born in Buffalo, New York, and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York, where he studied film and television. After graduating from college, Boreanaz moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.
Boreanaz's first major role was as Angel on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The character was originally supposed to be killed off in the first season, but proved so popular with fans that he was kept on the show for five seasons. In 1999, Boreanaz starred in the spin-off series Angel, which ran for five seasons.
