# Brad Binder Just Misses the Top 10 in Thailand ## Binder says "the potential is there" despite narrow miss and 11th place finish in Thailand MotoGP Thailand J1's Brad Binder (KTM/11) came tantalizingly close to a top-10 finish, ending the race just one thousandth of a second behind Miguel Oliveira (KTM/10). Binder's 11th-place finish was a respectable result, but he believes he has the potential to do even better. “I'm happy with the race, but a bit disappointed to miss out on the top 10 by such a small margin,” Binder said. “The potential is there, though, and I'm confident that we can keep improving.” Binder started the race from 13th on the grid, but he quickly moved up the field. He was running in the top 10 for much of the race, but he was unable to quite catch Oliveira in the closing laps. “I think we can make some small adjustments to the bike and be even stronger next time,” Binder said. “I'm excited to see what we can do at the next race.” Binder's KTM teammate, Pol Espargaro, finished in 12th place. Espargaro had a difficult race, but he was able to salvage some points. “It was a tough race, but I'm happy to finish in the points,” Espargaro said. “We'll keep working hard and try to improve for the next race.” KTM is currently fourth in the MotoGP team standings. Binder is 11th in the rider standings, while Espargaro is 12th.
