On Saturday, July 1st, Werder Bremen's Old Stars team gathered at the Wohninvest Weserstadion to celebrate their silver jubilee. Many former players from the club's golden era attended the event, including Marco Bode, Claudio Pizarro, and Ailton.
The Old Stars played a commemorative match against a team of Werder Bremen youth players. The match ended in a 3-3 draw, with Pizarro scoring a hat-trick for the Old Stars.
