What is Blas Perez?

Professional Soccer Player

Blas Perez is a retired professional soccer player who played as a forward. He was born on March 13, 1981, in Panama City, Panama.

Perez began his career with Alianza FC in Panama in 1998. He then moved to Mexico to play for León in 2002. After a successful spell in Mexico, Perez returned to Panama to play for San Francisco FC in 2006.

In 2007, Perez moved to Colombia to play for Deportivo Cali. He then moved to Argentina to play for Independiente in 2009. In 2010, Perez returned to Mexico to play for Monterrey.

International Career

Perez made his international debut for Panama in 2001. He has since represented his country at three CONCACAF Gold Cups and two FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Perez scored the winning goal for Panama in their 2-1 victory over the United States in the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup. He also scored a hat-trick in Panama's 5-1 victory over Nicaragua in the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Retirement

Perez retired from professional soccer in 2019. He is now a coach for Panama's national team.
