Wrexham FC’s first ever live TV match will now be broadcast on BT Sport

The National League leaders will take on Southend United in front of the cameras on Tuesday, February 21.

Kick-off at the Racecourse Ground is at 7.45pm and the game will be shown live on BT Sport 1.

This is the first time that Wrexham have had a live televised match since they were promoted back to the National League in 2020.

It is a major coup for the club and is a sign of the growing interest in Wrexham since Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took over.

Wrexham are currently top of the National League table and are on course for promotion to League Two.

A win against Southend would move them eight points clear of second-placed Notts County.

Southend are currently 16th in the table but they have won their last two matches.

The match is sure to be a sell-out and will be a great opportunity for Wrexham fans to see their team on TV.

BT Sport is the exclusive broadcaster of the National League.

The channel shows live matches every week and also has highlights and analysis of the league.

Wrexham's match against Southend is sure to be a great advert for the National League.

It will be a chance for fans all over the country to see the quality of football that is played in the division.
