Fulham extended their strong home form in the Premier League on Saturday as they defeated Everton 2-0 at Craven Cottage.
Aleksandar Mitrovic, who netted his 100th Fulham goal in the match, opened the scoring for the Cottagers in the 45th minute, expertly placing a header past Jordan Pickford.
Fulham doubled their lead in the 56th minute through defender James Tarkowski, with a powerful header from close range, claiming his first goal for his new club Everton.
Everton, struggling to gain momentum in the match, managed only three shots on target compared to Fulham's eight, and could not find an equalizer.
The win moved Fulham up to eighth place in the table, while Everton remain 18th, just above the relegation zone.
