Ud Las Palmas on top of the league after 2-0 win against CD Leganes
With today's win, UD Las Palmas reaches the first position of the Smart Bank League

UD Las Palmas is the new leader of Smart Bank League, after winning this afternoon against CD Leganés at the Gran Canaria Stadium.
The local team started the match dominating an opponent who was very imprecise. The first goal came in the 15th minute, through Jonathan Viera, who finished off a good combination between Marc Cardona and Pejiño.
The Canary Islanders continued trying to increase their lead, against a Leganés who did not react. In the minute 36, Sandro put the 2-0 on the scoreboard after culminatin a good individual play.
In the second half, Leganés went in search of the goal that would put them back in the match, but they found a very solid Palmas, who could even sentence the match with a clearer chance.
With this result, UD Las Palmas rises to the first position of the Smart Bank League, with 24 points, one more than Alavés. For its part, Leganés remains eleventh, with 17 points.
